Tesla Model S all-electric car becomes Norway's best-selling car

The Norwegian car dealer said on Tuesday that the Model S all-Electric Car produced by the American Tesla Motors Company became the best-selling car in Norway last month. Anders Langset, a 27-year-old second-hand Tesla Model S electric car buyer, said that because of the punitive tax of the Norwegian government, a conventional power car with similar performance and the same engine size as the Tesla Model S electric car may cost $ 330,000 higher.

The price of a BMW 5 Series car in Norway is between 10-115,000, which is lower than the Tesla Model S electric car, but its internal combustion engine is not as powerful as the latter. Tesla said the Seattle fire originated from a "very rare event" in which a "huge, strangely shaped metal object" smashed a quarter-inch hole in the deck protecting the lithium-ion battery pack. "If it is a gasoline-powered car, the consequences will be more serious."
