On November 14th, just before the opening of the 2024 Guangzhou Auto Show, BYD officially released the interior design of its mid to large MPV - Xia. The car will make its interior debut at the Guangzhou Auto Show. It has already started blind ordering and is expected to be priced at 300000 yuan, and will be launched within the year.

In terms of interior, the car adopts a completely new design style, which is different from the existing BYD models on sale and full of innovation overall. Specifically, the car will adopt a triple screen design consisting of a full LCD instrument panel, a large-sized suspended central control screen, and a passenger entertainment screen. Paired with straight central control lines and a new style of air conditioning vents, it will create a good sense of fashion and business. At the same time, the central control island of the car is equipped with wireless charging for mobile phones, dual cup slots, and a storage compartment below the island, greatly increasing storage space.

In addition, we can see that the car is equipped with a flip down entertainment screen on the second row roof, a small table panel on the second row, multifunctional buttons on the second row seats, and an in car refrigerator, greatly enhancing the riding experience of this car. According to the official introduction, Xia's exterior design draws inspiration from excellent traditional Chinese culture and incorporates the meaning of mountains and waters into the aesthetics of dragon face, with simple body lines. In terms of details, the car adopts the "Dragon Face" design style of the Dynasty family, with "Dragon Beard" decorative strips paired with a large-sized front grille, creating a good visual texture. The official statement states that car colors are extracted from traditional porcelain and Chinese imagery, offering four colors for consumers to choose from: blue, purple, white, and black.

From the side view, the car adopts a relatively flat roof design, which can provide sufficient headroom for passengers inside the car to a certain extent, bringing a more comfortable riding experience. In terms of the rear, the car adopts a through type light group design, and a small spoiler is equipped above the rear of the car. In terms of body dimensions, the new car measures 5145/1970/1805mm in length, width, and height, with a wheelbase of 3045mm.
