The biggest change in the new car is the installation of Huawei Qiankun Intelligent Driving ADS 3.0, Kunlun Extended Range Power System, Ningde Times Snapdragon Super Hybrid Battery, and the addition of a rear ceiling screen.
In terms of body size, the Avita 12 extended range version and pure electric version remain the same, with dimensions of 5020/1999/1460mm in length, width, and height, and a wheelbase of 3020mm. During the ride, the driver's seat is adjusted to the appropriate position for the driver. An adult with a height of 175 sits in the back seat, with approximately 3 and a half fists of legroom and over 1 fist of headroom. The seat is comfortable, soft yet hard, with good support and angle.
In terms of configuration, the Avita 12 is equipped with a 15.6-inch floating central control screen+35.4-inch 4K integrated remote screen, and is equipped with HarmonyOS 4 HarmonyOS cockpit. In addition, there are dual 50 watt wireless phone charging, streaming media rearview mirrors, front dual zero gravity seats, rear seat heating/ventilation/massage function, 25 British Treasure speakers, and a 16 inch rear ceiling entertainment screen.
In terms of intelligent driving, the Avita 12 is equipped with Huawei Qiankun Intelligent Driving ADS 3.0, which can achieve full intelligent driving from parking space to parking space. Compared with ADS 2.0, it has higher comfort and safety, closer to human driving, and better smoothness. In terms of hardware, it is equipped with 3 laser radars, 3 millimeter wave radars, 11 perception cameras, and 12 ultrasonic radars. In addition, the Avita 12 is equipped with VPD parking and driving assistance function, which can achieve unmanned driving in the garage, as well as functions such as roadside start stop and parking when leaving the vehicle.
In the urban experience, Avita 12 can accurately recognize traffic lights, overtake when changing lanes, detour when encountering vehicles coming to a stop on the roadside, make U-turns, turn left and right without protection, etc. However, it has not yet achieved full roundabout traffic. In addition, there was a special scenario where a vehicle was driving at a fast speed on this lane when a vehicle suddenly changed lanes on the right side. It felt that the braking response of the vehicle was slightly slower and there was a risk of collision, so it was taken over urgently. However, after experiencing it, the overall performance of this ADS 3.0 is very good. Its lower and upper limits are both very high, and it can also give people enough sense of security.
In terms of chassis, Avita 12 adopts the front double wishbone rear multi link suspension, air spring+CDC, and preview function. In the common deceleration strip passing scene in the urban area, with the fusion of three laser radars and cameras, it can detect the bumpy undulation of the road ahead, so that the damping value of CDC can be adjusted in advance to reduce the vibration feeling when passing the deceleration strip, which is equivalent to changing the impact body feeling from a 5cm high deceleration strip to a 2cm high deceleration strip. However, in actual experience, the feeling of passing speed bumps is that the chassis is too hard.
In terms of power, the Avita 12 is equipped with a new generation 1.5T extended range dedicated engine, with an engine power of 115kW and a thermal efficiency of 44.39%. The continuous power generation of the range extender reaches 70kW. The maximum power of the drive motor is 231 kW, and it can be filled with 92 octane gasoline. The fuel consumption is 5.8 liters per 100 kilometers due to power loss. The starting sound of the range extender is basically inaudible when driving on the highway, mainly due to the use of electronic oil pump to reduce friction and active stop piston technology to reduce vibration.
In terms of battery, the Avita 12 extended range version is equipped with a 39.05 degree Ningde Times lithium iron phosphate battery pack. The CLTC pure electric range is 245 kilometers and supports 3C fast charging, with a charging time of 15 minutes from 30% to 80%.
The Avita 12 pure electric version has a single motor rear wheel drive power of 237kW, an increase of 7kW compared to the current model, and a CLTC range of 755km. The four-wheel drive version has front and rear motor powers of 165kW and 237kW respectively, a total power of 402kW, and a CLTC range of 705km. And the entire series comes standard with an 800V silicon carbide platform, which can charge for 20 minutes and achieve a power level of 30% -80%.
