Recently, we obtained the application information of Tesla Model y new motor model from the Ministry of industry and information technology. The new car is equipped with a permanent magnet synchronous motor with a maximum power of 194kw. The data is lower than that of the current rear wheel drive model. With the Lithium iron phosphate battery, the price is expected to be further reduced.

The overall appearance design of the new car is consistent with the Tesla Model y on sale. In terms of body size, the length, width and height of the new car are 4750 * 1921 * 1624mm and the wheelbase is 2890mm. In addition, the car is equipped with automobile event data recording system (EDR), etc on-board devices and different types of wheels.

In terms of power, the new car is equipped with a permanent magnet synchronous motor with a maximum power of 194kw, which is lower than the current 202kw parameters in the after-sales wheel drive version. It is expected that the endurance performance can be improved to a certain extent.
