On July 21, Roewe D7, which is positioned as a medium and large car, officially debuted. It is the first model of Roewe's "D family", and competitors are targeting BYD Seal and Dark Blue SL03. The new car offers both pure electric and hybrid versions. The model unveiled this time is not the final mass production version, and the mass production version is planned to be launched within this year.

In terms of appearance, the front face of the Roewe D7 DMH adopts an extended design element of left and right expansion and upper and lower support, which is different from the integrated surface of the D7 EV, giving the vehicle a more powerful visual sense. In terms of headlight design, the D7 DMH is also distinguished from the D7 EV's split type headlights, adopting a lightning shaped integrated design that is highly recognizable.

The length, width, and height of the D7 DMH are 4890mm, 1890mm, and 1510mm respectively, with a wheelbase of 2810mm. The new car is equipped with a hidden door handle and 18 inch low drag wheels on the side, with a smooth and dynamic waistline. It is paired with a sliding back body, giving it a strong sense of technology.

The rear of the car is round and full, and the trunk is equipped with a slightly upturned ducktail, which is extremely sporty. Although the taillights are not designed in a continuous manner, they do not lack a sense of fashion. The slender design echoes the front headlights.

The interior of the new car was not unveiled this time. In terms of power, the pure electric version is built on the exclusive platform of SAIC Xingyun Pure Electric, providing two types of batteries with a range of 510 kilometers and 610 kilometers, respectively. The electric motor is a permanent magnet synchronous motor with a maximum power of 155 kilowatts.

The hybrid version will be equipped with a new DMH dual motor super hybrid system, equipped with the latest hybrid dedicated engine with a thermal efficiency of over 43%. The CLTC feed fuel consumption is as low as 4.3L/100km, the CLTC pure electric range is 125km, and the overall CLTC comprehensive range can be jumped to 1400km.
